Head out and visit us at Shugbrough Hall Christmas Show. You can sample and buy from our wide range of arts, craft and gift stalls where you might find anything from jewellery and other accessories, handicrafts, hand made cards, photography, candles, aromatherapy products, through to ceramics and wood turning. Food and drink might include wine, real-food as well as chocolates and other confectionery. There’s also an extra special seasonal treat in the magnificent Mansion House. It will re-open especially during the Shugbrough Hall Christmas Fair, offering visitors a glimpse of how the Victorians decorated their grand houses for Christmas. The house will be filled with fresh flowers and lit by the light of hundreds of candles – the piece de resistance being the magnificent candlelit 300-year-old chandelier. The Shugborough Candlelit Mansion House will open from 11am-4pm with the downstairs area decorated throughout with fresh flowers, Christmas decorations and trees. Tickets offered for sale through this website give access to Show and House. Single tickets will be available to purchase at the gate on the day at a cost of £5 adults, £4 concessions and children 16 and under are free You can also meet our lovely Reindeer (SUNDAY ONLY) as well as enjoying some seasonal music from our choirs, enjoy the café as well as picking up some Christmas Cooking tips from Masterchef Ondine Hartgroves in her Cookery Demonstrations on Sunday and Colin Ord on Saturday – all making for a jolly good day out!

The Mansion House, Servants Quarters, Farm, Walled Garden and Tearoom are now closed for the winter season and will be opening again for day visitors on Friday 21st March 2014.

The Mansion House will open however for 2 days only from 11am-4pm on the 30th November and the 1 December for the Shugborough Christmas Fair. It will be decorated with hundreds or candles, fresh foliage, flowers and trees for Christmas. Along with a large gift fair with a great selection of unique and unusual gifts for Christmas.

The Servants Quarters, gardens and tearoom will re-open from 10am-4pm for the Santa at the Servants’ Quarters event on the 7th, 8th, 14th, 15th, 21st & 22nd December. The Servants’ Quarters are transformed into a magical Christmas storybook world where children can meet Santa who sets up home for six days only in the butler’s pantry to meet and talk to children. Tickets are now available to purchase in advance.

You can still explore the beautiful gardens, magnificent monuments and wander through the island arboretum garden weekdays from 10am-4pm until 23rd December 2013. The Gardens are not open at weekends.

The National Trust shop is still open to visitors from 11am-4pm everyday until 23rd December and has a lovely selection of gifts and cards for Christmas.
